What is ROGAMO ?

ROGAMO is a platform that brings numerous fun gaming experiences on humanoid robots to seniors. With ROGAMO seniors at nursing homes and community centers can enjoy robot gaming as a supplement to traditional training exercises to stay active.

Staying active is very important as you get older since it comes with several health benefits, both physical and cognitive. Being active enables seniors to stay healthy and independent, and to be part of our society longer. However, engaging seniors to train hard and for long periods of time through traditional training exercises is often challenging as seniors may lack motivation and find such exercises dull and tedious.

Studies show that play is a natural way to stay healthy. ROGAMO therefore gamifies training through a variety of playful exercises that are more fun and engaging to the seniors. Thus, they feel more motivated to do more frequent, harder and longer periods of training.

How is ROGAMO unique ?

The Robot Effect

The social and at times peculiar characteristics of the robot helps increases the frequency, intensity and length of exercise sessions, and even encourages seniors to do tasks that they would normally avoid.

Exciting & Motivating

We are continuously developing new fun games so that seniors remain engaged and motivated during their training exercises.  Also, the difficulty of the games can be adjusted to fit different skill levels.

Tracks Progress

Through our simple dashboard you can view historical data from training sessions, which makes it easy for therapists to keep track of the training.

Easy & Simple To Use

Being tailored for use by seniors, therapists and care personnel, ROGAMO´s games and interface are designed to be very intuitive and user friendly.
